Location: Salinas Rural Administration
19900 Portola Drive adjacent to the Salinas Rural fire Toro Fire Station
Time: 0700-0800 Registration
0800 - 1700 Class
Cost: $30.00

 

           The Class Includes:

 

Ø    NWCG training curriculum

Ø    Student Workbook

Ø    NWCG Class “A” Faller Certification

Ø    Suited for Engine Company or Crew Company   personnel

Ø    Complete Chainsaw Safety, Maintenance, and Operations course in a variety of fuel type

 

Registration:        Complete and Mail of Fax the attached Registration

                              Form.  Limit 20 students.

Logistics:              Each Student will need to bring their own chainsaw,

Ø     3-4 Day Incident Based Wildland Firefighting Training

Ø     Live Fire Exercises

Ø     Mobile Attack

Ø     Progressive Hose Lays

Ø     $90.00 per day for each person from agencies outside of Monterey County – Includes meals and camping at the Post Campgrounds.

Ø     Blacklining on Thursday June 5, 2008 with approval of Operations Section Chief

Ø     Task Book sign-offs with prior approval

Ø     Registrations due by April 30, 2008
