Correspondence/Announcements:

Stew announced that the Monterey County T.O's and Fire Chiefs will be meeting on 10-9-03 at 1400 hrs. to put issues to rest and thanked Chief Vindhurst and Chief Parerra for their assistance with the matter.

Committee Reports:

ICS:

John Hawkins called and wants to do a Ops. S430 class the first week of December at ECC. After some discussion with regards to the financial impact to the T.O's, the group took a 15 minute recess to contact John Hawkins at 1058.

Meeting called back to order at 1110 hrs.

The cost of the program will be $3500.00.

Vindhurst motioned to fly the class at $150.00 per student, Schulers 2nd the motion, motion passed. It was also decided that if the class was not full 30 days prior to the class, the class would be canceled.

Wildland:

No report.

C. Fire Library:

No report.

D. Programs:

Stew informed the group that he had only received 5 surveys.

Haz Mat:

J. Charity Golf Tournament:

Catey stated that we are looking at hosting the tournament in April of next year.

Old Business:

Stew discussed the joint T.O's meeting on 11-19-03 at 301 Elkhorn. (North County Fire) starting at 10:30hrs. Lunch will follow (A Mitch Kastros BBQ) and the joint meeting will be at 1300hrs.

New Business:

Stew advised the group the electronic version of Bi-Laws will be going out to all. If anyone has changes, do not make them on the electronic version. Changes should be documented and brought forward to the T.O's

Good of the Order:

Chiefs dinner meeting in Marina at Vince Di Maggio Park 1800 hrs. Cost will be $15.00

Salinas Rural movement drill to be held on November 1.

Marina thanked all who participated in the 9-11 ceremony.

Nominations for new Secretary should be brought to the November meeting.

Catey indicated that Red Cross wants to address the T.O's to discuss their capabilities available for Fire Agencies. The consensus of the group was to have Catey invite Red Cross to the January meeting.
