Members Present: Approval of Minutes: No meeting in July due to a lack of a quorum. Treasury Report: No report Annual Financial report passed around. Correspondence/Announcements: Stewart Roth informed the group that the NORCAL Training Officers meeting would be held September 10th at 0900 at the Hyatt Regency. November 2nd through the 6th will be the NORCALs Training seminar in Fresno. Committee Reports:
J. Trenner reported that the Safety Officer class and Operations Section Chief class dates would be firmed up by the October meeting. We will also be having an S 290 course coming up. (to be announced) Wildland: Chief Vinhurst read a letter from this years Wild land Fire School I.C. (Chief Glass) To summarize, He would like to thank all involved parties for the successful school this year. All departments have been billed and the training officers account will be paid back in full. C. Fire Library: Disc with updated catalog to be put on website 6 videos are missing from the library (please check your stations) Flashover FV0133, Fire Control 1 FV0266, Power Tools & Lighting FV0277, Loss Control & Salvage FV0277, Loss Control & Overhaul FV0279 and Municipal Water FV0284. D. Programs :Survey to b resent out to all departments (Training Needs) E. EMS: Greg Dukart Reported: Draft EMS policies passed out for review and comment. Discussion about new State mandates and Title 22 changes. Note: Greg will be leaving us to start his new business soon. Thanks for your help and support and good luck. Training and Standards: (Schuler) July 30, 2003 = Implementation of Fireground Safety Systems Monterey County Fire ground Safety System training curriculum distributed. Web Site: No report. Http://www.mcftoa.org Upgrades are in progress Old Business: None New Business: Motion by J. Trenner to sponsor Nor Cal meeting lunch. (This would be at no cost to the T.O.s) Second by Vindhurst (unanimous vote) Good of the Order: Anyone who may have extra old backboards for the disaster trailer contact J. Trenner. SRFD to host M.C.I . movement drill in November Our condolences to the family and friends of Ron Zeise, who passed away and will be missed. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Rons name to your local Hospice organization. Motion made for Stewart Roth to attend County Chief meeting and present a formal apology for any misunderstanding that may have occurred by the cover letter sent to the Board of the County Fire Chiefs Association.
